Fri, June 27 - d’Art Summer Beer Tasting, 6-9:00 pm Seldon Arcade, Main St., Norfolk, VA. Local and Regional Brews with light fare, and Carolina Swampland Blues of ‘UPHILL’, plus the opening reception for “The Last Straw” Art Exhibit. $15

Sat, July 5 - Red, White and Bew Fest, presented by Back Bay Brewing, 614 Norfolk Ave., Virginia Beach. Join us for our Summer festival on July 5th. We will pitch our tent in the back lot. Food trucks, live music and featuring “Duck and Cover” our first collaboration beer with Young Veterans Brewing Co. It all starts at 3pm! Foods trucks will be: Malbon’s Flying Pig, Safritos and Bro’s Fish Tacos.

Thu, June 26 - Heavy Seas Firkin Night, 80/20 Burger Bar, 6:00 pm,21st St. Ghent, Norfolk. We’ve got Heavy Seas out of Baltimore, MD coming by this Thursday with some AMAZING beers! We’ve worked together to create a custom firkin that we will break into at 6:00pm! In addition, we have pint glasses to give away (1 per person). On Tap: Custom Firkin - equal parts Simcoe, Citra, Hallertau, and Willamete Hops and then we tossed in some Red Oak Wood!, Small Craft Warning - Über Pils 7% ABV, Holy Sheet - Über Abbey Ale 9% ABV, and We’ll have Loose Cannon and Peg Leg in bottle as well!

Fri, June 27 - The second beer in our evolving ‘Brett’ series, “Icarus”, is due to be released in the taproom this coming Friday (6/27). For those unfamiliar, Brettanomyces is a type of yeast, often referred to as a “wild yeast”, even though it’s commonly cultured by laboratories. But “wild” does not just refer to its habitat. Brett produces flavor compounds during fermentation quite different than brewer’s yeast and the different strains of Brett vary radically in what they produce as an end product. ‘Bro’s Fish Tacos’ will be serving up tasty eats starting at 3 pm!

Sat, June 28 - We’ll tap a special cask, and match it with great street tacos from ‘Karnage Asada’ starting at 1 pm!!
