Sun, May 31 - OBX BrewFest, Nags Head, NC, 3-8:00 pm. An experience like no other featuring everything from homebrew demonstrations and beer-centric workshops hosted by industry professionals, to live music. We'll also be presenting our unique "Games for Grown Folks" field day-style game zone which will be chock full of activities including life-sized Jenga, keg bowling, human foosball, life-size Connect Four and more. Non-drinkers can also enjoy samples throughout the day in the festival's Soda Garden, which will house over twenty handcrafted sodas. Thu, Jun 11 - Brew at the Zoo & Vino, Too! Virginia Zoo, 6:00 pm, Norfolk. The Cultural Alliance of Greater Hampton Roads presents a night of FUNdraising at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk. Come support the Cultural Alliance by snacking on good food and sipping delicious beer (and wine!) from breweries in Hampton Roads. Join us for live music, vibrant art, and local brews as we support the arts within our area! Jim Newsom and Holly Dutton will collaborate as "Mountaintide" to perform live music for the evening. Professional artists will also be present to exhibit and sell their work. Bring a chair and watch the band or bring your appetite and sample food from our vendors or from one of the many independently owned downtown restaurants. We get charities to run the beer tents and let them keep the tips. They get to spread the word about their good deeds and we get cold beer served with a smile.

We will be pouring 2oz tastings of 4 (maybe even 5) of our beers which are: Single Hop Nelson Farmhouse Ale, a Nelson Sauvin hopped saison; Hoppy Blonde, a Hoppy version of an American Blonde ale; IPA, a skilled hop hand has perfected this beer's massive hop flavor and aroma; Coffee Chocolate Bacon Porter, a Robust American Porter aged with cold brewed coffee, freshly ground cacao nibs, and real BACON; and maybe, just maybe our Mango Citra Saison, but I will have to wait for it to whisper in my ear that it is ready. So they're not really in Firkins, but "Cask" doesn't sound as good with "Food Truck" or "Friday." From 4 to 9 pm, enjoy delicious street food from one of our favorite food trucks. Tonight we'll release OBC's O.P.P., That's "Other People's Pilsner" for you craft beer folk. This is a special, brewery only release so you can only get it at OBC while supplies last!
Sat & Sun May 30/31 - O'Connoroo 2015. It's back for a 2nd year! And because the turnout for O'Connoroo was so amazing last year, this year we're making it a two-day affair. Join us on Saturday from noon-9pm for an all-day festival atmosphere, with live music by four bands on indoor and outdoor stages; a food truck court including Karnage Asada, CXB BBQ & Eats, and Lucky Peach; free hourly brewery tours; cornhole, shuffleboard, giant Jenga; and other surprises. Plus we re-release our beloved SpyHop White IPA, making its 3rd Spring Debut! On Sunday from noon-6pm enjoy a more relaxed vibe at the brewery, with two live acoustic music performances; Pizza Bella Vista and Sofrito food trucks on-site; a bounce castle, and other family-friendly entertainment; as well as free hourly brewery tours and all our special beers.
