SMARTMOUTH BREWING COMPANY, at the Smartmouth Tasting Room, Norfolk (West Ghent)

Wed 1/22: 4:30pm - 8:00pm, Beer release - Bashor Oatmeal Brown Ale, and Firkin Keg! We will have a special cask-conditioned beer in the tasting room on Friday - Bashor Brown American Ale with vanilla.  Cask Ale, or Real Ale as it is sometimes called, is beer which has not been filtered or pasteurized; it is "Alive."  The beer is transferred straight from the fermenter into the cask along with some priming sugar. The yeast consumes the sugars to produce carbonation and complex flavors. The cask we are using is called a firkin and holds 10.79 gallons of beer. Hope to see you there!

Fri 1/24: 4:30pm - 8:00pm, Tasting Room Open, w/Chic's beach BBQ and Eats (CXB BBQ Food Truck) and release of our new Smartmouth Glassware!  ~ National Beer Can Appreciation Day

Wed 1/22: 4:00pm - 7:00pm, SIN and Vinyl Night at OBC - Wednesday nights bring your vinyl or just jam to the great tunes we got playing in the tap room. It's also SIN (Service Industry Night) at OBC on Wed nights, so if you work in the restaurant, hospitality or service industry, you get 50% OFF EVERYTHING.

Thu 1/23: 4:00pm - 7:00pm, Every Thursday is THIRSTY THURSDAY in the tasting room. EVERYTHING IS 30% OFF FOR EVERYONE. Draughts, flights, growler fills, merch, everything.  No reason, just cuz. Yeah, you're welcome.
 
Fri 1/24: 4:00pm - 7:00pm, Food Truck Friday: Brother's Fish Tacos will grace us with their tasty creations from 4-7pm. Mark your calendars and come visit us for some great brew and amazing food!

Sat 1/18: 12:00pm - 7:00pm, On Saturdays we are open from noon to 7, and from 4 to 7 we have live music performances and mobile food vending, as well.  This weekend come check out live music in the brewery by Gina Dalmas, and delicious Filipino food from one of our favorite local food trucks, Bobby Q.

Wednesday Nights Beer Education started in August 2011! We feature special tappings of rare beer, we pour crazy bottles by the glass, hold Steal the Pint nights, and we even sometime incorporate food into it!

Friday Night's Pairing Menu was created in September 2011 as a way to offer a bridge between our beer menu and our cheese! The pairings can be ordered individually or they can be ordered together as a flight!
