Sat, Sep 6 - Inaugural Virginia Craft Beer & Wine Festival, 12-5 pm, nTelos Wireless Pavilion, Downtown Portsmouth, VA. The festival will exclusively feature some of the finest selections of craft breweries and wineries, all hand-picked and selected from right here in Virginia. Tickets include unlimited sampling of craft beer and wine from Virginia breweries and wineries, along with a commemorative festival glass and live entertainment featuring Virginia natives Lewis McGehee and Major & The Monbacks. Participating local breweries will include O’Connor Brewing Co., Smartmouth Brewing Co., Back Bay Brewing Co., Young Veterans Brewing Co., St George Brewing Co., Larry’s Lemonade, Ale Works Brewing Co., Legend Brewing Co., Devils Backbone Brewing Co., Bold Rock Hard Cider, Starr Hill Brewing Co. and Sunken City Brewery, along with a selection of premier wineries from across the state.
