Sat, Jan 16 - DoG Street Pub Firkin Festival, Merchants’ Square, Williamsburg. ~ A Beer & Food festival featuring Cask Ale ~. The Blues sound flourishes in the roots of music, much like Cask Beer, it is raw & unfiltered. Taste the beer tapped at the source at the DoG Street Pub Firkin Fest. “Cask” beer also known as “real ale.” Instead of beer from kegs or bottles, it is poured from firkins & pins (size names for casks). The event will feature off-the-hook live blues music on two stages. This year’s performers include the Bobby Blackhat Band, Anthony Rosano and The Conqueroos, Billy Joe Daniels, Zack Salsberry, and Shelly Thiss - lead singer of the Mike Lucci Band.
