Fermented in bourbon barrels with Brettanomyces and wild yeast/souring bacteria native to Coastal Virginia, this beer is an assault on the senses, with notes of chocolate and bourbon paired with bracing acidity. IF IT’S TOO LOUD, BABY YOU’RE TOO OLD! Bass Panzer is 7.6% ABV, 11 IBUs. It will be available on draft and to go in 750ml bottles. There will be no bottle limit, but once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Technically, Kölsch beer is not called “Kölsch” unless it’s brewed within a 50km range of Köln, Germany (Cologne). So here in America we call them “Kölsch Style” beers. Crisp and refreshing with a golden straw color and utilizing a classic German Kölsch yeast to ferment this exquisite brew, we are sticking to the traditional recipe and brewing this very unique beer by the books! - Beer Release, Alewerks Brewing Company, 12-5:00 pm, 189-B Ewell Road, Williamsburg. We’ll Release Twenty Knots Tripel. Our take on a Belgian-style Tripel is named after the schooner “Atlantic”. This gorgeous vessel achieved 20 knots during her sea trials in 1903. Expect aromas of banana, light clove, and pear followed by flavors of apricot, spicy esters, and pear. This beer has a light sweetness but finishes dry with a touch of hop attitude.
