We’ll also be re-releasing our Backyard Bonfire Smoked IPA: Showcasing barley malt that was grown and smoked in our backyard by our friends at Copper Fox Distillery, paired with Sorachi-ace hops, this beer balances herbal and fruity aromas with the smoky character from the apple and cherrywoods used.

- Beer Release, Smartmouth Brewing Co., 12 - 7:00 pm, 1309 Raleigh Ave., Norfolk. Join us for the release of a brand new seasonal beer, Free Thought Pale Ale. This beer gets its name from the independent spirit of our brewery and a desire to break the fall seasonal mold. We found some exotic hops, Mosaic and Galaxy, and brewed a beer we just wanted to drink. The result is a pale ale that’s quite sessionable, with tropical fruity notes and aromas of passion fruit and citrus. Ferg’s Missing Ingredient will be on-site all day cooking up delicious grub with live music from Vince Kornegay 4:30-6:30 pm.
