- 3rd Annual OBC Brewers Battle Royale, O'Connor Brewing Co., 12 - 9:00 pm, 211 W 24th St, Norfolk. O'Connor Brewing Co. proudly presents its 3rd annual Brewer Battle Royale. The brew: SAISON. Each member of our production team will develop and brew his/her own 5-gallon recipe for a variation of a saison. The only restriction is that they stay within the style, as described by the official BJCP guidelines-everything else is open. Each of the competition beers will be sold as a single flight. The flight will be served with a score sheet and a print out of the guidelines, so guests can judge based on trueness to style as well as which brew they like best. Voting will be closed at 8:15, and the winner will be announced at 8:30. The beers will be poured with the brewer being anonymous so as to avoid any potential bias. The winning beer will be brewed as a 2017 OBC beer release. We’ll also have Live Music by the 'Esoteric Ramblers’ from 5:30 - 8:30 pm, and 'Karnage Asada’ on hand bringing the Latin-Asian smackdown from 12-10 pm!

It’s an all day party on Sept 3rd and we’re releasing our first TWO red wine barrel aged sours on draft! These beers are ridiculous and we are excited to finaaaally get to share them with you!
