Beer Release, O'Connor Brewing Co., 3 - 10:00 pm, 211 W 24th St., Norfolk. Walk Off Kolsch: In baseball, you can rocket a double into the left-center field gap or try and beat out a perfectly placed bunt down the third base line. You can make an incredible diving catch, or your knees can buckle on a filthy curveball with the bases loaded. But only on the rarest of occasions will you see a Walk Off-a game-winning hit by the Norfolk Tides that sends the crowd home from Harbor Park with an unforgettable memory. Our version of this famous Kolsch-style Ale-which we have brewed in collaboration with the Norfolk Tides-is extremely clear, very crisp, and has subtle hints of pineapple and pear. A very sessionable and easy-drinking brew that pairs perfectly with warm summer days and cooler nights at the park, Walk-off Kolsch is the ideal beer to start (and end) the game.
