Juicy Thoughts DIPA Release, Benchtop Brewing Company, 5 - 9:00 pm, 1129 Boissevain Ave., Norfolk. Everyone loved our beers Natural Juicy and Silly Thoughts. So we had a Juicy Thought. Why not combine the best parts of these two beers. This is a double IPA where we had dialed back the bitterness quite a bit from our typical DIPA’s and increased the juicy factor. This one is made with Citra and Simcoe Lupulin Powder and double dry hopped with said powder! We will also have our friends at 'Vicki Vail’s Gourmet Burgers’ serving up some tasty eats!

Oyster Stout Charity Beer Release, Brass Cannon Brewing, 12 - 9:00 pm, 5476 Mooretown Road, Williamsburg. We made a stout with oysters in it! Utilizing oysters donated by the Hayes Oyster Company, this beer has been brewed to raise funds for local river conservation. The oysters themselves lend little flavor to a full flavored beer like a stout, but they add a 'briny’ undertone that rounds out the flavor. We’ll be tapping this beer to coincide with Earth Day. A portion of proceeds from the sale of this beer will go to the James River Association. Herbie D. and Chris Grooves will be playing awesome blues music from 6 to 9. The owner of the Hayes Oyster Company will be on site chatting about oysters, and representatives of the James River Association will be here to talk about the good work they do for our rivers.
