It works like this here: Up to 4 volunteers bring their best crockpot recipe of food to be served starting at 6 pm. Anyone interested can try a serving of each and vote for their favorite. A donation ($3 suggested as a minimum) for the food goes to the charity featured that week. The volunteer who gets the most "favorite" votes wins a $20 PHB gift card. Peace & Pints Yoga Class, Smartmouth Brewing Company, 10:00 am, 1309 Raleigh Avenue, Norfolk. January's class will be taught by Elizabeth Danse from HotHouse Yoga. No signups required but please arrive at least 5 minutes before 10. Class is free, but donations are requested to benefit local waterways charities. In 2014, with just 5 classes, we raised more than $650 for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. After the class, refresh with a nice cold beer. Bring your mat, towel and water and we'll provide the sweat and hops.
