New Beer Release: Alchemical REM, Beach Brewing Company, 12:00 pm, 1505 Taylor Farm Rd., Virginia Beach. Alchemical REM is a Berliner-style Weiss, refermented in oak barrels with raspberries, Brettanomyces, and souring bacteria native to Coastal Virginia. A-REM is lightly tart and refreshing with a floral, fresh-fruit aroma. 5.8% ABV, 6 IBU, with a Final Gravity of 1.000. Alchemical REM will be available by the glass and to-go in 750ml bottles beginning at 12p on Saturday, January 17th. There will be an initial limit of 2 bottles per person. Any bottles remaining after Saturday will be on sale with no limit.
